Barium titanate and strontium titanate microparticles was synthesized at ambient temperature and pressure by aqueous solutions of barium hydroxide, strontium hydroxide, titanium lactic acid complex, sodium hydroxide and reaction accelerator. Barium titanate microparticles synthesized under appropriate conditions exhibits paraelectric properties. Furthermore, when the powder is sintered, it exhibits ferroelectric properties.
