We report a method for controlling the molecular orientation direction of the D–A type π-conjugated polymer PDPP-DTT in high-speed coating (10 mm/s) by regulating the bar rotation speed. Conventional high-speed coating has faced the challenge that the orientation direction is limited to the coating direction. By rotating the coating bar during deposition, we successfully achieved highly controlled orientation ranging from the coating direction to the perpendicular direction. Furthermore, we discuss the mechanism of molecular orientation based on time-resolved measurements and surface observations.
