A novel T-shaped π-conjugated molecule, T-BQx, was synthesized, yielding two polymorphs (LT from and HT form). While the LT form exhibits one-dimensional charge transport, the HT form exhibits cooperative conduction pathways—termed "double-column charge transport"—arising from intermolecular orbital overlap. Organic field-effect transistor (OFET) evaluations revealed that the charge-carrier mobility of the HT phase reached 1.21 cm²/Vs, significantly outperforming the LT phase. The cooperative transport pathway demonstrated in this study is expected to serve as a new structural design guideline for the development of high-performance organic semiconductors.
