当研究室では有機単結晶分布帰還型レーザーの開発を行ってきた。しかし、現在採用している表面発光である二次回折格子は端面発光である一次回折格子より閾値が高い。そこでフィードバックと光を取り出す力を制御でき、表面発光であるsubstructured gratingを導入し閾値低減を目指した。本研究ではsubstructured gratingの溝幅を空間的に変化させ、溝幅変化に伴う発振閾値変化を見た。
