In recent years, interest in fusion energy has been growing. Along with this, various studies have been conducted on the process leading to the practical use of fusion. We focused on a method that directly achieves fusion reactions using quantum beams, and by using modern cutting-edge quantum beam control and measurement technologies, we started looking into realizing next-generation fusion energy technologies—like p-11B, which require high-temperature reactions difficult for conventional plasma fusion methods—in a compact system.
