[11p-E217-8] Pressure dependence of ionic conductivity in AgI-CuI solid solusions

The pressure dependence of ionic conductivity in Ag_0.9Cu_0.1I and Ag_0.85Cu_0.15I was investigated. Because the ionic radius of Cu⁺ (0.074nm) is smaller than that of Ag⁺ (0.1nm), an enhancement of ionic conductivity in the α- and β-AgI phases is expected upon Cu substitution. However, no significant change in ionic conductivity was observed in either phase.
