In frequency-multiplexed quantum repeaters toward the realization of the quantum internet, a spectral demultiplexing system that can efficiently identify multiplexed photons is essential. In this presentation, we report on the development of a VIPA- and microlens-array-based spectrometer compatible with frequency modes spaced by 120 MHz, and evaluate its performance by measuring the system efficiency for multiple modes and comparing the results with the theoretical upper limit.
