Toward the generation of low-phase-noise THz carriers for 6G, we are developing a 300-GHz-band THz baseband wireless communication system using a microcomb and optical-to-THz conversion. Prior to THz wireless transmission, we performed an optical communication experiment using a modulated comb mode. As a result, the EVM was below the HD-FEC limit at all measured symbol rates for 16QAM, achieving an EVM of 9.02% at 25 Gbaud and demonstrating 100-Gbps optical communication.
