We demonstrate tracking terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) using two time-programmable optical frequency combs for THz generation and detection. The interpulse delay between the two combs can be arbitrarily controlled, allowing the measurement time window to follow changes in the sample position. By controlling the pulse-to-pulse timing, we efficiently acquired only a 60 ps time window around the THz waveform. We further demonstrated reflection-mode THz-TDS while continuously tracking a mirror moving at a constant velocity over a distance of 3 cm.
