When surface acoustic wave (SAW) phonons propagate in a magnetic thin film, their interaction with magnons can show nonlinear behavior. In this study, we experimentally investigated this nonlinear phonon-magnon coupling using a device with interdigital transducers (IDTs). By varying the input microwave power and magnetic field, we observed clear nonlinear responses in the transmitted signal, such as a threshold-like power dependence. Additionally, numerical simulations well reproduced these experimental trends, confirming nonlinear magnetoelastic coupling as the underlying mechanism.
