The effects of alternating current poling (ACP) frequency and cycle number on the piezoelectric properties and domain structure of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3–PbTiO3 (PMN–PT) single crystals were investigated. It was found that the cycle number required to achieve the maximum piezoelectric coefficient depends on the ACP frequency, and that the domain structure exhibits a frequency-dependent response. These findings indicate that ACP frequency and cycle number influence the evolution of the domain structure, thereby affecting the piezoelectric coefficient.
