Currently, the development and retention of quantum talent in both industry and academia is a major challenge, and there is a growing need to expand opportunities for young people in particular to experience and learn about quantum technology. In this study, we observed double resonance between light and microwaves in cesium (Cs) atoms using a horn antenna and a laser. This enables an intuitive understanding of the spatial distribution of microwaves and their interaction with atoms. In addition to providing a fundamental understanding of atomic clock technology, this approach is expected to be applied as an experimental teaching tool for quantum technology education.
