[8a-PA1-9] Effects of random telegraph noise on the Tavis–Cummings model

We numerically investigate the effects of random telegraph noise (RTN) on the Tavis–Cummings model describing the interaction between a collection of two-level atoms and a single-mode electromagnetic field. We compare the time evolution of quantities such as the bright-state population, dark-state population, and average photon number for common and independent RTNs. In particular, we compare the effects of common and independent RTNs on the collective states of the system.
