Kapton, which is widely used in spacecraft, may exhibit changes in its thermo-optical properties due to molecular structural modifications induced by space radiation. In this study, an in-situ evaluation system capable of real-time measurement of optical properties under vacuum conditions was developed at the 1 MV tandem accelerator facility of Tohoku University. Transmittance and reflectance spectra were acquired during proton irradiation, and changes in thermo-optical properties were evaluated.
