The distribution of Na-containing particles on devitrified (crystallized) silica glass surfaces was quantitatively evaluated using microscopic imaging combined with image analysis techniques, including binarization, morphological filtering, and contour analysis. Multiple samples with varying OH group and Cl contents were compared, revealing differences in the area fraction and average area of Na-containing particles between samples. These results indicate that the concentrations of both components influence Na distribution and devitrification behavior in silica glass.
