In this study, we prototyped a hydrogen detection sensor that combines a hydrogen-sensitive membrane with an organic thin-film device. We report on the basic structure of this device and the results of our evaluation of its electrical characteristics. We demonstrate that this configuration enables hydrogen detection based on a different operating principle than that of conventional sensors.
