Single-pixel imaging (SPI) achieves high-fidelity recovery by projecting illumination patterns onto an unknown object and collecting light intensities using a single-pixel detector. Although SPI has achieved widespread success in different applications, it is limited when the object is hidden in complex scattering media where the correlation between the illumination patterns and the collected single-pixel light intensities is destroyed. Here, we report optical information retrieval in complex scattering media where a hidden object can be recovered with high fidelity.
