BiS2-based superconductor La(O, F)BiS2 has a layered crystal structure consisting of a charge-supply layer and a conduction layer. It has been reported that the superconducting transition temperature Tc can be increased by the partial substitution of Sn at the Bi site. Recently, it has been reported that the substitution of Nd for La site further increases Tc. Nd has a smaller ionic radius than that of La ion, though the valence is the same. In this study, we investigated changes in structure and carrier quantity by performing Ca substitution, which has a smaller ionic radius and lower valency than La.
