We are conducting research on “Solar Matching,” a novel application of organic thin-film solar cells that enables the simultaneous generation of solar power and cultivation of plants. Furthermore, regarding organic transistors, we have focused on organic static induction transistors with a vertical structure; recently, we have been conducting extensive studies aimed at developing multifunctional devices capable of light emission and power generation in addition to their transistor functions. In this presentation, we will introduce new developments in the organic semiconductor devices and our efforts toward their social implementation.
