Hydrogen-based energy storage is preferable to use in combination with high-speed response devices such as batteries, as water electrolysis is not suitable for fast response. Therefore, complex control methods are required to accommodate time shifts in energy storage systems. Furthermore, since renewable energy generation is variable, the input to the water electrolysis device also fluctuates. Thus, we tried to deepen our understanding not only of improving conversion efficiency but also of input range and stable operating conditions.
