In this study, we propose an imaging method based on an inverse problem approach applying perturbed angular correlation to introduce spatial encoding into nuclear medicine. A forward problem equation mapping the source distribution to γ-ray counts was formulated by superimposing angular correlations, and a measurement system that scans a local magnetic field was evaluated via Monte Carlo simulations. The results confirmed that the condition number of the forward matrix decreased along with the magnetic field scanning, which stabilized the image reconstruction, thereby demonstrating the feasibility of the spatial encoding using the proposed method.
