In recent years, attempts have been made to describe the photovoltaic effect generated by applying a DC electric field and irradiating light called field-induced photovoltaic effect. The mechanism for generating this photovoltage is that an electric field or light breaks the symmetry of the system, and the other probes and transports the break. In this study, we focused on the field-induced photovoltaic effect in a two-dimensional electron gas at SrTiO3 surface, which exhibits a strong Rashba-type spin-orbit interaction with an in-plane centrosymmetry but a unique spin structure.
