Plasma-activated Ringer’s lactate solution (PAL) has been reported to exhibit selective cytotoxicity against cancer cells and contains reactive organic compounds such as GA, EA, and TA in addition to RONS. In this study, MCF-7 and MCF-10A cells were treated with a mixture of PAL-derived organic compounds, and cell viability was evaluated by MTS assay. Cell viability decreased under high-concentration conditions, while differences between the two cell types were observed at intermediate concentrations. In this presentation, we will report intracellular response mechanisms by adding intracellular ROS measurement, cell death evaluation, and Western blotting analysis.
