As a measure to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from thermal power plants, we have been conducting research on the applicability of hydrogen and ammonia co-firing in existing thermal power plants. Here, we present the results of our studies, assuming hydrogen co-firing in gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power plants and ammonia co-firing in coal-fired power plants.
