photopolymerization-induced diffusion
An electret is a dielectric material with a fixed polarization structure. However, its fabrication generally requires high-voltage application, limiting microdevice design. In this study, we propose a contactless and spatially selective method for forming and fixing polarization structures without external voltage. Localized light irradiation of a polymerizable ionic liquid induces ion redistribution through photopolymerization-driven diffusion, while the resulting polymer network immobilizes the polarization structure.
