In recent years, quantum machine learning, which applies quantum properties to machine learning, has attracted increasing attention, and quantum walks are expected to be useful for feature transformation of input information. However, learning quantum dynamics poses a challenge due to the need to optimize numerous parameters. In this study, we propose an extreme learning machine based on quantum walks used as fixed feature transformers (Quantum-Walk Extreme Learning Machine: QWELM), and evaluate its performance on a Lorenz time-series prediction task.
