Impedance spectroscopy of molecular memristors revealed two relaxation processes corresponding to electronic-state dynamics and thermal relaxation. In particular, the slow thermal relaxation appears as a colossal megahenry-scale emergent inductance. Focusing on internal-state dynamics and emergent inductance, we discuss the mechanism governing the time scales of memory, firing, and reservoir-like responses.
