When circularly polarized light is incident on a turbid medium containing dispersed fine particles, it is known that depolarization depending on the size of particles occurs due to scattering, which can be applied to the technique to evaluate the properties of dispersed particles. In this study, we set up the optical system to measure the detection angle dependence with a rotation stage and measure the angular dependence of depolarization intensity under illumination of circularly polarized light to the aqueous suspensions with different particle sizes. The experimental results indicate that the circular depolarization has non-linear behaviors with respect to the size of particles.
