In this work, we construct two phase-locked fiber-based programmable combs for acquiring a broad spectrum from 0.9 to 2.1 μm with fast measurement speed. The repetition rates of the two frequency combs are normally maintained at the same frequency; however, an FPGA-based digital electronics platform (Red Pitaya), controlled through a computer-based software interface, enables rapid modulation of within 1.6 Hz, allowing us to quickly acquire the center-burst interferometric signal. Owing to the small difference between the repetition rates of the two frequency combs, the accessible measurement bandwidth is intrinsically broad, potentially enabling the detection of broadband spectra far above 100 THz. The measured spectrum will be presented during the session.
