Resonant tunnel diode (RTD) oscillators, which are compact devices that operate at room temperature, have attracted attention as sources and detectors in the terahertz band. Previously, self-injection locking, multimode oscillation, and mutual-injection locking in RTDs have been reported. In this study, we conducted stability analysis for both self-injection and mutual-injection and analytically determined the frequency and phase relationship.
