[8p-PA2-8]Observation of Terahertz Waves Reflected at The End of a Metal Wire Waveguide

To realize a terahertz resonator using a metal wire waveguide, we investigated the reflection characteristics at the wire ends using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. We observed reflection waves originating from both the beginning and end of the wire, and confirmed that placing a metal micromirror at the end increased the reflection waves. These results indicate the potential for controlling reflections at the wire ends and are expected to be useful for future studies on resonator structures.
