The operational state of the photon-breeding devices, developed by T. Kawazoe and M. Ohtsu, lies far from the ground state, therefore, variational optimization of the action integral is essential in a theoretical exploration. We also reveal the universal modulation
factor for optical responses, e.g. luminescence, magneto-optical effect, etc.
In this theoretical frame, the remaining problem is that the action integral depends on the backward and forward causations, which is carried by susceptibility.
This presentation examines how the ordinary, inverse, and neutral causations
affect on the action integral and the universal modulation factor.
