Polarization volume grating (PVG), which is expected to have applications in waveguide-based augmented-reality glasses, is a type of liquid crystal (LC) based reflective polarization diffraction element that combines the properties of polarization grating and cholesteric LC. This presentation will report on the measurement device (OPTIPRO-PVG) that we developed for optically identifying each parameter of PVG.
