Single-Molecular Transistor,In-situ Measurement
In this study, we conducted in situ measurements on numerous devices to examine the process of single-molecular-bridge formation when heteroepitaxial spherical Au/Pt nanogap electrodes, fabricated using electron beam lithography (EBL) and electroless gold plating (ELGP), were immersed in a solution containing a Si2×2 derivative. As a result, we successfully captured events related to single-molecular-junction formation. We applied AI analysis to these time-series data to identify guidelines for developing single-molecule transistors that operate at room temperature.
