Photodetectors based on epi-QDSLs exhibit outstanding performance, with significantly enhanced responsivity and detectivity, making them a promising platform for next-generation high-performance photodetectors. However, the ligand-free surface of PbS quantum dots in epi-QDSLs formation makes them highly sensitive to environmental degradation, thereby limiting their long-term operational stability. To address this issue, we introduced a thin polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)-based block copolymer passivation layer, which acts as a barrier against oxygen and moisture exposure to the PbS QDs.
