Most perovskite solar cells are fabricated by spin-coating under an inert atmosphere. However, this method suffers from low material utilization efficiency and is limited to small-area, flat substrates. In this study, we focus on electrospray deposition in ambient air, which offers high material utilization efficiency and is well suited for large-area coating, curved substrates, and complex tandem structures. To realize high-quality CsPbI3 perovskite solar cells under ambient and low-temperature conditions, the optimization of electrospray deposition parameters and annealing conditions was investigated.
