In response to the recent demand for larger HDD capacities, ferroelectric recording is being considered as one recording method that can overcome the physical limitations of current magnetic recording, and we are also working towards the realization of ferroelectric recording HDDs. In this study, we investigated the dependence of each parameter of the recording electric field distribution using computer simulations in HDD-type ferroelectric recording using probes.
