We synthesized Fe-Co-Ni middle-entropy alloy (MEA) nanoparticles using the pulsed plasma-in-liquid (PPL) method and investigated the effect of solvent conditions on the products. Samples prepared by varying the mixing ratio of ultrapure water (UPW) and ethylene glycol (EG) were evaluated by XRD. The results showed that the addition of EG suppressed the formation of metal oxides and confirmed the formation of Fe-Co-Ni alloy nanoparticles. In this presentation, we report on ternary Fe-Co-Ni nanoparticles prepared by the PPL method, incorporating results from electron microscopy and XAFS analysis.
