Currently, more than 80% of the waste heat released into the environment from energy consumption is at temperatures of 200 °C or lower. Because waste heat in this temperature range often originates from curved surfaces such as piping, flexible thermoelectric devices suitable for such environments are regarded as promising candidates.Single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) thin films are one such candidate; however, their thermoelectric performance remains insufficient for practical applications.
In this study, we aim to enhance the thermoelectric performance of SWCNT thin films by depositing Sb2Te3 onto their surface.
