High-Entropy Alloys are known for their outstanding properties, and CrMnFeCoNi, in particular, has attracted considerable attention as a next-generation material because of its excellent combination of high strength and high ductility. Although the strengthening mechanism of this alloy is considered to be closely related to its local structure, the effects of magnetism remain poorly understood. In this study, we use first-principles calculations to investigate the effects of magnetism on the electronic structure and atomic structure, and discuss the relationship between magnetism and mechanical properties.
