In this study, we aim to enhance the output power of second-harmonic generation by stacking metamaterial films in which single-split ring resonators are periodically arranged in a polystyrene film. The output intensity under backward quasi-phase-matching conditions is evaluated through numerical simulations, taking into account the absorption and phase difference of the second-harmonic waves generated in each layer.
