To clarify redox reactions induced by low-temperature plasma, hydroxyl radical (OH) generation was investigated in the presence of divalent iron, Fe(II). Fe(II) enhanced OH generation under ultrasound irradiation, whereas OH generation tended to decrease under plasma irradiation. This presentation discusses the effect of Fe(II) on plasma-induced redox reactions.
