To elucidate the mechanism of serum protein aggregation in low-invasive hemostatic treatment using low-temperature atmospheric-pressure plasma, the relationship between plasma-induced flow and protein aggregation was investigated. BSA solutions with different pH values were treated by plasma, and the induced flow was observed using a Schlieren optical system. A comparison of flow patterns in solutions with different aggregate sizes revealed no significant differences in flow, but clear differences were observed in the aggregate formation process.
