Understanding the initial carrier injection process from contact electrodes into the
semiconductor layer is essential for clarifying the operation of organic thin-film
transistors (OTFTs). We have observed the carrier injection process in nanosecond
time region by using our extended time domain reflectometry, however, we could
not observe sub-4 ns time region due to the limitation of pulse generator. In this
study, we performed time-resolved TDT measurements in the sub-4 ns region using a
new high-speed pulse generator and sampling oscilloscope.
