Optical frequency combs are expected to serve as highly accurate wavelength calibration sources for exoplanet detection using the Doppler method. However, large variations in the intensity distribution of the calibration spectrum can degrade calibration accuracy. In this study, broadband spectral flattening was performed to improve the performance of an astro-comb, and the spectral characteristics before and after flattening are reported.
