In this study, we synthesized zero-dimensional chiral bismuth halide single crystals and investigated the mechanism of chirality transfer to the inorganic framework. Circular dichroism (CD) measurements revealed a CD peak around 500 nm, corresponding to the excitonic transition of the inorganic framework, confirming chirality transfer to the inorganic framework. Furthermore, the anisotropy factor, gCD, evaluated by considering optical anisotropy, exhibited a large value. These results are discussed from the viewpoints of crystal structure as well as optical and spin-related properties.
