In the development of π-conjugated polymers for high-performance organic solar cells, improving charge transport through the control of intramolecular planarity is one of the key factors. In this study, we synthesized DTPz-based π-conjugated polymers (PBDTPz series) and their π-spacer-incorporated counterparts (PBDTPz-T series) containing a novel acceptor unit, dithienophenazine (DTPz). We systematically investigated the effects of π-spacer incorporation and fluorine substitution on the photovoltaic properties of organic solar cells.
