Generally, ionic thermoelectric cells generate high potential difference but, thermoelectric capacitor obtains over 10 mV/K which is particulary high potential difference. When temperature difference is applied to the thermoelectric capacitor, ions move to the cold side but, because of the ease of the diffusion differs, certain ion accumulates on the cold side which lead to the high potential difference. In this work, we tried to enhance the accumulation of certain ion utilizing the host molecule on the electrode surface.
