The turbulence induced around a thermal plasma jet still has many unclear aspects regarding its generation mechanism and characteristics. In this study, we performed time-resolved observation of the turbulent structures induced by an Ar plasma jet using a Spatial-Frequency-Resolved (SFR) schlieren method. As a result, we quantitatively captured the downstream convection velocity of the turbulent structures with a specific spatial wavelength and their variation time. These results provide insights toward elucidating the characteristics of the induced turbulence.
