Atomic-scale three-dimensional force mapping (3D-AFM) on molten Ga/solid interface has been performed using a high-speed qPlus-sensor-based AFM. For the Ga/AuGa2{111} interface, a lattice-like force distribution corresponding to the sixfold-symmetric atomic arrangement of the solid surface was imaged. In contrast, for the Ga/PdGa5{211} interface, a superstructure-like force distribution with the larger lattice spacing, reflecting the long-period lattice of the solid surface, was obtained. These results demonstrate that the solid surface structure at the liquid metal/solid interface introduces long- and short-period long-range order into the interfacial liquid structure.
